Remain in Light is the sound of four nervous art-school weirdos from New York flying to the Bahamas, dropping acid with Brian Eno, and accidentally inventing the future of music. Recorded in July-August 1980 at Compass Point Studios in Nassau and Sigma Sound in NYC, the album is 40 minutes of pure rhythmic hypnosis: African polyrhythms, Fela Kuti loops, funk basslines that never resolve, and David Byrne�s voice stuttering like a man having a panic attack in ten languages at once.
