Nine Inch Nails / Pretty Hate Machine(1LP)
Sold out£22.00
Pretty Hate Machine is the sound of a 24-year-old Trent Reznor locked in a Cleveland studio at 3 a.m., teaching himself how to make machines scream his loneliness back at him. Recorded mostly alone at night in Right Track Studio (while working as a janitor by day), Reznor built the album on cheap synths, drum machines, and a Macintosh Plus. The result is 48 minutes of cold, sexy, furious, danceable despair that invented modern industrial rock and accidentally became the soundtrack to every goth club, mosh pit, and bedroom suicide note of the early 90s.
